Spindle capping machines
Compare the main automatic, compact and semi-automatic capping routes.
Suitability limits
Some bottles need extra handling or another capping method.
Direct answer
A bottle may be unsuitable for inline spindle capping if it cannot be guided without distortion, spins during tightening, has an unstable base, presents the cap poorly, is contaminated at the neck, or uses a closure that cannot start squarely before tightening. Testing representative filled packs is the only safe way to confirm the route.
